25 Powerful Bible Verses About Mothers and Daughters
Published April 17, 2023
While the Bible has lots of stories about mothers and sons, the same cannot be said about mothers and daughters. In fact, apart from Naomi and Ruth, very few Bible stories focus on the relationship between mothers and daughters.
That’s not to say, however, that there aren’t any great Bible verses about mothers and daughters.
As this list proves, the Scriptures are filled with verses that illustrate the special bond between mothers and daughters and the depth of a mother’s love for her children. Some verses also teach daughters how to respect and love their mothers and fathers.
You see, mother-daughter relationships can be complicated. There will always be times when they don’t see each other eye to eye. Some may even choose to forget each other’s existence. But there’s no denying the love they have for each other. It might be clouded with pride, anger, or resentment at times. Yet, at the end of the day, that love, forged in the womb, will still be there.
If you’re looking to improve or strengthen your relationship with your mother or your daughter, these Bible verses can help.
