We can all agree that being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world. It involves overwhelming responsibilities with not even a manual to guide you. Besides, nobody has yet perfected the art (and science) of parenting. So most have to go by the time-tested adage of trial and error.
Despite its challenges, parenting is also a very rewarding job. Just seeing your child becoming the person you hoped them to be – a true child of God – is one of the proudest moments for a parent. For some, becoming a parent even gave them a sense of purpose and motivated them to get their act together.
But what unites parents from all over is their overwhelming loving care for their children and the desire to be the best parent for them. For Christian parents, that means training them up in the ways of God. And the best place to get ideas about Godly parenting is the Bible.
