40 Encouraging Bible Verses About Waiting For Love
Published January 21, 2022
Waiting for something is never easy. The uncertainty of when it will happen or if it will ever happen at all can be nerve-wracking. That’s never been more true if you’re waiting for the right person.
Admit it or not, being single is hard if everybody else is getting married. Add to that the constant societal pressure of having to settle down at a certain age. Sometimes, it can be so frustrating that we can’t help but ask ourselves, is love really worth such a long wait?
But as they say, the longer the wait, the sweeter the fruit. The longer you wait for something, the more you’ll finally appreciate it when it finally arrives. You won’t let it go easily. You’ll fight hard to keep it. And that’s what makes a long-awaited love so priceless.
So if you’re still waiting for the right person to come into your life, be steadfast and trust in God. He knows us more than we know ourselves. He knows the person who will be perfect for us, the person who will love us despite our imperfections, and the person who will stick with us through thick and thin. And that person will come to us in God’s perfect time.
If the wait is tiring you out, here are some bible verses about waiting for love to encourage you:
