Amongst all the books in the Bible, nothing is more relatable than the book of Psalms. Unlike the narrative tone of most books, the Psalms tell of personal struggles and desperate pleas. It not only gives you a glimpse into the author’s innermost thoughts. But more importantly, these verses are also a great source of encouragement.
You see, the people who wrote the Psalms verses thousands of years ago also had their fair share of struggles. But in their words, we don’t only see desperation. We also get to see how strong their faith in God was. Despite everything that they had been through, they never failed to call on Him and praise His name.
