Bible Pictionary
This is great for testing the participant’s knowledge about bible characters and events (and their drawing skills too!).
What You’ll Need:
- board (2 sets)
- chalk/marker (2 sets)
- small pieces of paper
How to Play:
- Write bible characters or events on small pieces of paper.
- Divide the participants into two groups.
- Have one member from each group come up to the front and pick a piece of paper.
- Let them draw the scene or character they’ve picked on the board.
- The other members of the group will try to guess what they’ve drawn.
- The first group to guess correctly wins the point. The group with the most point wins.
Pass the Message – Bible Edition
If you had fun playing the “Telephone Game”, then you’ll have more fun using bible characters for it.
What You Need:
- small pieces of paper
How to Play:
- Write Bible verses on the small pieces of paper. Use unfamiliar ones to make it more challenging. But don’t make it too long or you won’t have any winner.
- Divide the participants into two groups. Make sure that each group has the same number of members.
- Have them line up but must be a meter apart from each other. If you have a small space, you can make it just a few feet.
- Call the member at the front of each line. Let them pick just one piece of paper. They need to memorize the quote written in it before going back to their groups.
- When they’re done memorizing, they can run back to the line and whisper the verse to the person next in line. That participant will, in turn, whisper it to the person next to them until the message reaches the person at the end. That person will then run to the front and whisper the message to you. The first group to whisper you the exact verse written on the paper wins.
