Come Pray With Us

Sharing Our Faith & Love Of GOD

We meet every second Saturday at Emmanuel Catholic Church in Delray Beach, Florida

We Are Lay Cistercians of South Florida

For centuries, Christian monasteries have served as wells of spiritual nourishment, shaping Western civilization and continuing to inspire people today. These serene sanctuaries have drawn individuals from all walks of life seeking a closer connection to God. They offer a peaceful refuge for prayer, reflection, and renewal. They’re sacred spaces where one can reconnect with their faith. Here, you can find a deeper meaning in God’s teachings.

Many people are drawn to the monastic life and spirituality of the Cistercians, inspired by its simplicity and depth. For these laypeople, adopting Cistercian spirituality is a meaningful way to live out the Gospel in their daily lives. It serves as both a guide and a motivation, helping them become the people God intended them to be. In recognition, the Cistercians welcomed these lay communities, now Lay Cistercians, into their spiritual family.

Welcomed by the Abbots of their Cistercian monasteries, Lay Cistercian communities have grown worldwide. This led them to unite and form the International Association of Lay Cistercian Communities.
